Our Sulzer Brisbane Service Centre is fast‑paced, collaborative and on an exciting growth journey, and we're looking for an experienced Trades Assistant to grow with us and make a real impact.

In this role you will be accountable for:

General assistance in the workshop as designated by the Section Supervisor or Works Manager.
Assistance in the assembly and disassembly of large rotating equipment
Cleaning duties where required, including projects and the facility.
Painting various projects to move to completion such as motors, generators etc
Sorting and organisation of project parts and workshop tools.
Understanding and adherence to safety and quality procedures/policies.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

3+ years working in heavy industry, manufacturing, mining etc
Basic mechanical and technical skills
Sound communication skills.
Good level of time management.
Ability to engage and work with others.
Keen attitude.
Rigging, Heavy Rigid & Forklift License (desirable).
