About the Role

Milspec Energy Solutions is seeking experienced Transmission and/or Distribution Linespersons to support the delivery of electrical infrastructure projects across QLD, NSW, and VIC.

This is a hands-on role involving transmission and distribution line construction, stringing, maintenance, network upgrades, and fault response work in regional and remote environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Erect transmission and distribution structures (steel, concrete, and timber)

• Perform conductor stringing, sagging, and tensioning

• Install insulators, hardware, poles, crossarms, and OPGW

• Carry out maintenance, fault repairs, and network upgrades

• Operate plant and equipment (EWP, winches, cranes, pole borers, and associated machinery)

• Work safely under HV access permits and network procedures

• Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality requirements

About You

• Proven experience in transmission line and/or distribution network construction and maintenance

• Strong safety mindset and compliance focus

• Ability to work at heights and in regional or remote environments

• Reliable, team-oriented, and outcome-driven

• Adaptable and capable of working across both transmission and distribution projects

Requirements

• Cert III ESI – Transmission Overhead and/or Distribution Powerline (or equivalent)

• White Card

• Working at Heights

• Current Driver's Licence (HR preferred)

• High Risk Licence (WP, DG, CN – as applicable)

• First Aid and CPR (desirable)

Location

Project-based across QLD, NSW, and VIC (travel required).
