The Opportunity

We're looking for a motivated person to join our team as a Pre-Construction Termite Technician, based in Brisbane.

No pest industry experience is required — we'll provide full training and support your development in the trade. What we can't teach is work ethic, reliability, and taking pride in what you do. If you have those three things, we want to hear from you.

Experienced termite protection technicians are also encouraged to apply. Salary is negotiated based on your experience and what you bring to the role.

What You'll Do

•    Install pre-construction termite barriers and protection systems on commercial sites

•    Read and work from construction plans to identify termite entry points

•    Work to Australian Standards and builder requirements

•    Complete job reports and documentation for each project

•    Represent Vale on site — professional, reliable, and quality-focused

What We're Looking For

•    Full driver's licence

•    White Card (or willingness to obtain before starting)

•    Able to pass a police check and drug and alcohol testing

•    Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)

•    Physically fit and comfortable working on active construction sites

•    Willing to travel within the Brisbane region, including occasional overnight stays

•    Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work

Pest management licence or timber pest qualifications (Units 8 & 10) are a bonus — but not required. We can support you in getting there.
