About the role

Power Smash Repairs is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our dynamic team in Mittagong, NSW. This is a full-time position based at our workshop location. As an Automotive Detailer, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional finishing touches to vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Your meticulous attention to detail will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the reputation of our business.

What you'll be doing

• Perform comprehensive exterior washing and drying of vehicles using appropriate techniques and products

• Execute professional interior vacuuming, sanitising and cleaning of all vehicle compartments

• Apply protective treatments including waxing, polishing and ceramic coating application

• Clean and detail windows, mirrors and all glass surfaces to a high standard

• Prepare vehicles for delivery by ensuring immaculate

• Operate and maintain detailing equipment and tools safely and responsibly

• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and environmental regulations

• Work collaboratively with the repair and service teams to support overall workshop efficiency

• Help maintain a clean and orderly workshop

• Monday to Fridays only with overtime available

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an Automotive Detailer or in a similar automotive finishing role

• Strong knowledge of detailing products, techniques and best practices within the automotive industry

• Demonstrated ability to achieve consistently high-quality results with meticulous attention to detail

• Proficiency in the safe use of detailing equipment, pressure washers and chemical treatments

• Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks and work in various conditions

• Excellent time management and ability to work efficiently whilst maintaining quality standards

• Reliable, professional attitude with strong communication skills and an ability to work with other staff members

• Knowledge of paint protection, ceramic coatings or advanced detailing techniques is advantageous
