Outback Kitters/America's Garage is looking for a motivated you g person to join us as a Warehouse Storeman! You'll be in charge of picking, packing, and shipping orders, as well as receiving incoming goods. If you are organised, energetic, and eager to learn, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Australian citizenship is required for this position.

Minimum of 1+ years warehouse or logistics experience is required.

Outback Kitters / America's Garage is a wholesale distributor of accessories to suit American Trucks (RAMs, F-Trucks and Silverados). We distribute our products around Australia and we are looking for someone to join our growing team to help get our products out the door and into the hands of our customers.

Warehouse Duties

• the receiving, unpacking and storing and packing of goods and materials in accordance with appropriate procedures

• preparation and receipt of appropriate documentation including liaison with suppliers;

• allocating and retrieving goods from specific warehouse areas;

• the wrapping or packing of goods for dispatch and the dispatch of goods;

• the delivery of goods;

• responsible for housekeeping in own work environment;

• periodic stock-checks;

• loss prevention;

• the receipt, preparation, packing of goods for repair or replacement and the minor repair of goods;

• fork-lift operator;

• opening and closing of premises and associated security

• basic assembly of products (i.e. wrap up products and put in fitting kits)

• periodic pick up/delivery of items within local area

• automatic driver's licence is acceptable for local deliveries

Product Assembly Duties

• Final production of various products (preparing fitting kit)

This is a full time position with the opportunity to grow as the company grows.

We are diving deep into automations to make everyone's daily jobs a lot easier and want someone who is willing to help us build the right tools to make a day's work seem as easy as possible.

We're a good bunch of guys who are about to launch some amazing new products that will keep us busy, so we're looking for someone who is:

• keen to learn and grow

• has the ability to follow directions

• is fluent in English

• willing to learn our Inventory Management software on a computer

• not hesitant to ask questions if they do not understand a task

• is fit enough with the ability to lift boxes

• ability to lift boxes up to 25kg is required

If you do not have a Forklift Licence, we would be willing to cover ½ of the cost of the course for the right candidate after the probation period has been completed.
