Maintenance Fitter (TC)

Your New Opportunity:

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Fitter/Machinist - Afternoon shift to join our team at Tyrecycle Redbank Plains Team on a full-time basis.

Must be Flexible to work some OT and weekend when needed

Afternoon Shift 3pm start

This hands-on role is key to ensuring the continued reliability, performance, and safety of our plant and equipment. You'll play a crucial part in driving operational excellence through best practices in safety, environmental compliance, product quality, housekeeping, and equipment utilisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Promote and model safe working behaviours in alignment with Tyrecycle’s OHS standards.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with SOPs and statutory obligations.

• Proactively contribute to a high-performing team environment focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

About you: 

• Solid understanding of safe work practices and manual handling procedures

• Experience and Qualified Maintenance Fitter/Machinist - Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitter & Turner / Mechanical Fitter)

• A collaborative team player who’s hands-on, dependable, and solutions-focused

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a practical mindset

• Strong safety minded focus

• Electrical disconnect/reconnect licence (highly regarded but not essential)
