Electrician (flexible start or finish)

Techservices Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team in Brisbane, QLD. This is a full-time position with flexible start and finish times, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance whilst delivering exceptional electrical services to our clients. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety, reliability and quality of electrical installations and maintenance across our diverse project portfolio. You will be at the forefront of our service delivery, directly contributing to our reputation for excellence in the trades and services sector.

What you'll be doing

• Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems, battery systems, solar systems, wiring and equipment in accordance with Australian electrical standards and safety regulations

• Conducting thorough inspections and diagnostics of electrical installations to identify faults, damage and areas for improvement

• Troubleshooting electrical problems and implementing effective solutions to restore functionality and safety

• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation to guide installation and repair work

• Ensuring all work complies with relevant Australian electrical codes, regulations and company safety protocols

• Testing electrical systems using specialised equipment to verify performance and safety standards

• Communicating effectively with clients, project managers and team members to ensure work is completed to specification and on schedule

• Maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used and any issues encountered on site

• Adhering to health and safety procedures and promoting a safe working environment at all times

What we're looking for

• Current electrical licence or qualification recognised in Queensland (such as a Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent)

• Proven experience as a qualified electrician, ideally with solar and battery accreditation. Although it is an added advantage, if uncredited you can still apply as long as you're willing to learn.
