Off Road Equipment (ORE) is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable 4WD Accessory Sales Person to join our team in Myaree, WA. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in the thriving retail and consumer products sector, specifically within the specialist 4WD accessories market. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our customer experience, driving sales and building lasting relationships with enthusiasts and professionals alike. You will play a vital part in representing ORE's commitment to quality products and exceptional service, whilst contributing directly to the company's growth and success.

Key responsibilities

1. Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations to customers seeking 4WD accessories, ensuring they find solutions that meet their specific needs and budget

2. Actively engage with customers on the sales floor, identifying their requirements and guiding them through our product range with confidence and professionalism

3. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising point-of-sale systems and maintaining proper cash handling procedures

4. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and creating repeat business opportunities

5. Keep the showroom and retail displays organised, clean and visually appealing, ensuring products are well-presented and stock levels are maintained

6. Assist with stock management, including receiving, checking and displaying new inventory

7. Support the team in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators

8. Stay informed about product updates, new stock arrivals and industry trends to provide current and relevant advice to customers

9. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and promptly

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in retail sales, ideally within the automotive, outdoor or specialist equipment sector

2. Strong passion for 4WD vehicles and off-road accessories, or a genuine willingness to develop expertise in this field

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse customer groups

4. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets whilst maintaining customer satisfaction

5. Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills

6. Physical capability to handle and move products safely and effectively

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment

8. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and reliability

9. Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
