Motor Mechanic/LV Mechanic Location: Various sites across Western Australia (Pilbara Region)
Salary: $65 – $82 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

We are currently seeking experienced Mechanics to join our team for ongoing site-based and workshop opportunities throughout the Pilbara region.
About the Role As a Mechanic with Ready Resources, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, repair, testing, diagnosis, and modification of heavy vehicles, mobile plant, mechanical equipment, and associated control systems. Work may be performed across mining sites, client workshops, industrial facilities, and remote locations throughout Western Australia.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience - Trade Qualified Mechanic with a recognised apprenticeship
- Minimum 5 years' post-apprenticeship experience
- Recognised Automotive or Heavy Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Current WA Driver’s Licence
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Current Medical and Drug & Alcohol Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
- Previous mining, resource, or heavy industry experience highly regarded
Key Duties & Responsibilities - Service, maintain, diagnose, repair, and modify vehicles, plant, and mechanical equipment
- Perform fault finding and testing to identify and rectify mechanical issues
- Plan and organise materials, tools, and resources required for maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and timesheets
- Conduct quality inspections and testing of completed work
- Provide feedback on equipment performance and maintenance requirements
- Maintain high housekeeping standards within workshops and work areas
- Report breakdowns, hazards, incidents, and unsafe work practices immediately
- Ensure tools and equipment remain safe and serviceable
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to achieve operational objectives
- Promote and maintain a positive safety culture and commitment to Zero Harm
