About the Role

This is a hands-on, client-facing sales role that combines relationship building with real on-site problem solving.

You won't just be selling—you'll be out on site meeting clients, assessing roofing issues, and providing solutions that are genuinely in their best interest.

You'll focus on existing commercial buildings—maintenance, repairs, and replacements—working with clients and builders who operate in live environments rather than new construction.

Key Responsibilities

Visit client sites to inspect, assess, and diagnose roofing issues (including leaks)
Identify root causes and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions
Prepare scopes of work and prepare accurate quotes for repairs, maintenance, and replacements
Build and manage strong client relationships
Follow up opportunities and convert quotes into secured work
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery

Regular site visits across commercial properties
Working safely at heights, including climbing ladders and accessing roofs
Thinking on your feet and solving problems in real time
Acting as a trusted advisor—not just a salesperson

About You

Commercially confident and comfortable discussing pricing
Motivated to win work and get invoices paid
Strong communicator, especially on the phone and in person
Emotionally intelligent and good with people
Takes ownership and doesn't need to be chased
Acts with integrity – does the right thing, always
Must be an Australian citizen

Experience

Commercial roofing or construction experience highly regarded
Minimum 1-2 years of commercial roofing or construction experience required
Ability to scope, quantify, and price projects
Proven sales or business development experience preferred
