About the Role:

We are looking for motivated Automotive Sales Consultants and Trainees to join our growing team at West Ryde.

Whether you’re an experienced salesperson or someone looking to start a career in automotive sales, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in either an established brand (Mazda) or an exciting new EV brand (BYD).

You’ll be responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences while achieving strong sales results in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

What you'll be doing

1. Actively engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations

2. Conducting product demonstrations and test drives to showcase the features and benefits of our vehicles

3. Negotiating deals and closing sales in a professional and ethical manner

4. Maintaining detailed sales records and ensuring a smooth sales process from start to finish

5. Providing exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships with clients

6. Staying up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed advice

7. Collaborating with the wider sales team to achieve individual and collective targets

What we're looking for

1. Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive or a similar retail industry

2. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide a personalised buying experience

3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a consultative approach

4. Passion for the automotive industry and a desire to stay informed about new models and features

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and meet sales objectives

6. A strong work ethic, self-motivation and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team

7. Valid Australian driver's licence
