About us:

Our client is a leading dealership representing 2 of the top 5 automotive franchises in Australia. It is part of a larger family group of well-established and dynamic automotive dealerships and related enterprises. The Position:

They are seeking an accountant to work with the financial controller of the dealership to deliver relevant, timely and accurate financial information which will enhance the operations of the enterprise, give insight into areas of potential improvement and provide strong financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable

• Prepare financial statements and reports

• Conduct reconciliations and assist with internal reviews and audits

• Assist with budget and forecast preparation

• Assist to Improve financial processes

Ideally you will:

• Have experience in the motor vehicle industry and particularly the new car dealership sector

• Have strong knowledge of accounting software (Titan DMS experience is a plus)

• Have the ability to organize yourself and work within a team of accounting professionals

• Be hands-on with good communication skills and

• Have demonstrated financial skills and problem solving

The Offer:

Remuneration for the role will be commensurate with experience.

Superannuation will be paid in addition to a motor vehicle allowance.
