We're looking for an experienced Senior Service Technician to join our Brisbane Service Centre.

In this hands-on role, you'll carry out repairs, fault-finding, diagnostics, and refurbishment work on a range of equipment in a busy workshop environment.

You'll be responsible for ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role is ideal for a skilled technician with strong repair experience, good problem-solving abilities, and a practical approach to getting the job done.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on a range of equipment
  • Complete board-level repairs, refurbishments, and component replacements
  • Test, calibrate, and commission equipment to ensure it meets quality standards
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and identify effective repair solutions
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records in SAP and CRM systems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop
  • Support efficient workshop operations and help maintain high service standards

About You

You're an experienced Service Technician with strong troubleshooting and repair skills. You enjoy working in a hands-on workshop environment, solving technical problems, and delivering high-quality work. You take pride in working safely, accurately, and efficiently.

What You'll Bring

  • Certificate III in Electronics and Communications
  • Hazardous Areas accreditation (UEE42620/UEE42622 or equivalent)
  • Restricted Electrical Licence
  • At least 5 years' experience in electronics, RF, or a service centre environment
  • Eligibility to act as a Qualified Technical Person (QTP)
  • Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills
  • Experience using electronic test equipment
  • Experience with equipment repair, refurbishment, and calibration

Desirable

  • Experience in mining, industrial communications, or other safety-critical environments
