Apprentice Carpenter and Plasterer

About the role

Arrow Interior Linings' is seeking a talented Apprentice Carpenter or Plasterer to join our dynamic team for Immediate Start in Burpengary and Beerwah, Queensland. This full-time position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in both carpentry and plastering, working on a variety of exciting commercial projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting with the installation of wall and ceiling framing, including timber-framing and metal-framing

2. Preparing and applying plasterboard, including cutting, fixing, jointing and finishing

3. Completing basic carpentry tasks

4. Working alongside experienced tradespeople to learn the latest techniques and industry best practices

5. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by following all health and safety procedures

1. A genuine interest in construction and a willingness to learn new skills

2. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

3. The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

4. A commitment to safety and a strong work ethic

5. Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks

6. Reliable and punctual - shows up every day ready to work

7. Motivated to build a long-term career in the trade

8. Candidates may specialise in either carpentry or plastering, or both, with training provided in both areas
