As our national fleet continues to grow, we are seeking a highly organised and driven Parts and Logistics Manager to lead our national parts operation from our Rocklea facility.

About the Role

The Parts and Logistics Manager is responsible for the leadership and performance of the national parts operation, ensuring efficient supply of parts and components for our servicing, repair, pre-delivery and customer adaptation activities, supporting our valued customers and bus operators across Australia.

This role plays a critical part in helping our customers keep their vehicles on the road, ensuring technicians and operators have the parts they need while maintaining strong stock control, supplier relationships and service standards.

You will oversee inventory management, purchasing, warehouse operations and parts interpretation while supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department

• On time parts supply to the service, PDI, customer adaptation and service teams

• Manage relationships with trade customers, fleet operators and suppliers

• Parts interpretation, quoting and ordering for King Long and Isuzu I-Bus vehicles

• Purchasing, receipting and inventory control of spare parts

• Maintain accurate national stock levels and supplier ordering schedules

• Manage workshop consumables and parts supply across departments

• Optimise warehouse material flows and stock location systems

• Resolve outstanding supplier orders and customer backorders

• Picking, packing and dispatch of parts and components

• Implement systems and procedures to support growth and operational efficiency

• Supervise and support parts and warehouse staff

• Maintain strong communication with workshop and operations teams

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years managing parts operations within automotive, truck, bus or heavy vehicle industries

• Minimum 5+ years team management experience to effectively supervise and support parts and warehouse staff development

• Strong inventory management and purchasing experience

• Experience using inventory or accounting systems (Xero experience advantageous)

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work within a fast-paced service environment

• Valid driver's licence

• Forklift licence advantageous

• Ability to lead a small team and support operational improvements
