 What’s it all about?

Based at our workshop in Woodville North SA, you will be joining our team of Workshop fitters in the testing, repair and maintenance of a range of machine tools.

This role would be suited to an experienced Electrical Fitter with knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical systems. This is a full-time position with one of Australia’s most trusted machine tool suppliers.  

 What will you need to do the role?

• Experience with woodworking and/or metal working tools and machinery

• Australian Electrical Fitter trade certificate.

• Ability to quickly troubleshoot faults and establish repair options.

• Proven ability to carry out repair options quickly and efficiently

• Demonstrated time management skills & ability to multi-task

• Ability to machine and manufacture minor components

• Sound knowledge and experience in servicing electro-mechanical assemblies

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams and drawings

• Knowledge and experience in machine tool alignments and accuracy

• Knowledge and experience in hydraulics

• Current drivers’ licence

• This role may involve some field service work so can you work unsupervised and are you able to problem solve?

 Other skills that would be useful but not essential.

• Electrical knowledge, plus experience with electronics and PLCs.

• Confident in the use of computers, and willing to adopt a flexible approach to working hours when required.

• Experience in disassembly, repair and reassembly of a gearbox.

• Experience in hydraulics, ability to read hydraulic drawings, fault finding and maintenance

• The ability to remove and replace hydraulic seals in cylinders.

Salary and Benefits

A very attractive salary including (Overtime and 12% Superannuation) is on offer as well as the benefits of working with a very experienced team of professionals with no nightshift working Monday to Friday.
