Boilermaker or Welder Fabricator

Customvac is a specialist manufacturer of aluminium stockfeed trailers and pneumatic conveying equipment. Since 1983 Customvac has delivered high-quality, reliable products to the Australian agricultural, transport and feed milling industries.

Customvac is currently looking for a qualified Boilermaker or Welder/Fabricator to work with the team in the Toowoomba Workshop. This is a permanent position, working 38 hours a week with a reasonable amount of overtime at standard overtime rates.

This role would be suited to a person who is looking for variety in their daily tasks rather than monotonous repetitive work. We're looking for someone with a passion for manufacturing and a willingness to learn new things.

The core of the role is the welding and fabrication of the Walinga aluminium bulk feed trailers with potential to venture into other areas such as the installation of hydraulic, pneumatic and auto electrical systems.

MIG & TIG processes will be used for welding aluminium, steel and stainless-steel components.

Both on-the-job and external/accredited training options are available to support career progression.

Wage rates will be negotiated based on qualifications and or prior experience, a profit-sharing scheme is available for all team members on completion of the probationary period.
