Maintenance Carpenter

Joytech Adelaide are recruiting for multiple trades.

This specific role in this application is for a maintenance carpenter / experienced handyman to join our team.

Joytech pays overtime and penalty rates this would not be a flat rate position. Hours operate 0800 - 1630 Mon - Fri and when required 0800 - 1200 Saturday.

Our firm has locations in Alice Springs / Adelaide and Yulara.

The suitable applicant could also, if desired, be able to work stints in any location however this role would be predominantly Adelaide based. Our firm does attend Port Augusta, Mt Gambier and other SA locations for maintenance works.

The applicant must be reliable, honest, professional and able to work and manage jobs when required alone.

Our firm is completing maintenance works on Defence, RFDS and real estate properties.

We would ideally like to hire the services of an individual who is also able to complete quotes on provided scopes of work as well as completing frequently required works.

Jobs are managed via our online job management system which is also utilised by all staff for day to day job allocation via an app on their smart device.

Examples of duties required are such as:

1. Repairs to gyprock, cabinetry and small carpentry repairs.

2. Replacing door locks, window locks and flyscreen mesh.

3. Silicon work, grout work and shade structure repairs.

4. Re-hanging toilet roll holders, curtain rails or towel rails.

5. Repairs to damaged walls and shaded structures, gates etc.

Our firm is flexible and would consider employing suitable staff either on full time basis with work vehicle or via an agreed sub contractor rate where the successful applicant can use their own work vehicle.

The successful candidate will be supplied with relevant training, uniforms and job specific tools as required.
