Gordon Powers is a rapidly growing electrical contracting company providing residential, commercial, maintenance, and Level 2 ASP services throughout Sydney.

Our team delivers everything from residential service works such as fault finding and switchboard upgrades through to consumer mains installations, private power infrastructure, defect rectifications, overhead and underground service works, and emergency response services.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Licensed Electrician to join our team. Whether your background is primarily in residential electrical maintenance or you have Level 2 ASP experience, we would like to hear from you.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same.

You will be responsible for carrying out a broad range of electrical work across residential and commercial projects throughout Sydney. Depending on your experience and qualifications, you may also be involved in Level 2 service work projects.

Typical works include:

• Residential electrical maintenance and fault finding

• Power, lighting and circuit installations

• Switchboard upgrades and replacements

• Consumer mains upgrades

• Defect notice rectifications

• Emergency electrical call-outs

• Metering and service upgrades

• Underground service installations

• Private pole replacements

• General electrical installations and maintenance

• Civil excavation works associated with electrical projects

About You

We are looking for a motivated electrician who takes pride in their workmanship, communicates well with customers, and wants to be part of a company for the long term.

You will have:

• NSW Electrical Licence

• Current Driver Licence

• Construction White Card

• Strong fault-finding skills

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A professional and reliable attitude

• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Desirable Qualifications

The following are advantageous but not essential:

• Consumer mains experience

• Switchboard upgrade experience

• Excavator or machinery operation experience

• First Aid and CPR
