Position Overview

You will be responsible for carrying out domestic electrical maintenance, installations, and air conditioning works (where qualified), while delivering outstanding customer service. Domestic maintenance experience is desirable but not essential, as we place a strong emphasis on training, mentoring, and professional development.

You will represent the Just Trades brand on the road each day, delivering high-quality workmanship, safe work practices, and excellent communication with customers and team members. In addition to technical work, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, preparing and presenting on-site quotations, completing invoices and job documentation, and helping customers make informed decisions about the best solutions for their needs.

This role suits someone who is self-motivated, takes pride in their work, enjoys building relationships with customers, and wants to be part of a supportive and fast-growing business.

You will report directly to, and be supported by, the business owner, Kurt, and will be provided with the training, coaching, systems, and tools needed to continue growing both professionally and personally.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Work

• Perform domestic electrical maintenance, repairs, and small installations.

• Complete switchboard upgrades, safety switch installations, lighting upgrades, and general electrical repairs.

• Fault-find and diagnose electrical issues efficiently and safely.

Customer Service

• Provide friendly, professional communication with homeowners and small business clients.

• Explain job findings, options, and solutions clearly and respectfully.

• Uphold the Just Trades values of integrity, honesty, respect, team work and patience.

Team Culture & Growth

• Contribute positively to a supportive team environment.

• Ability to speak up and be heard with any ideas, improvements or issues.

• Participate in weekly tool box meetings.

• Regular feedback and support provided.

What We Offer

• Competitive pay: $45–$55/hr + super (based on experience).

• Bonuses paid weekly for performance and customer reviews (discussed during the interview, no cap on bonuses).

• Expected earnings with bonus: $120,000 - $140,000 (we'll show you the numbers)
