About the role
Garage 12 is seeking a qualified motor vehicle panel beater or metal fabricator, and a qualified painter also to join our dynamic team in our Dromana, VIC workshop. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute their expertise to our Automotive Trades operations.
What you'll be doing
Repairing and replacing damaged vehicle body panels and components
Performing metal fabrication and welding tasks to restore vehicle structures
Carrying out vehicle painting and finishing work to a high standard
Collaborating with the wider team to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
Adhering to all health, safety and quality standards
What we're looking for
Formal qualifications in motor vehicle panel beating and metal fabrication
Certificate III in either Panel Beating or Metal Fabrication is required
Extensive experience in automotive body repair and restoration work
Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in automotive body repair is essential
Strong welding, fabrication and painting skills
Advanced painting expertise is required for this position
An eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities
A team-oriented approach and good communication skills
Australian permanent residency is required for this role
