About the Role

As an Apprentice Vehicle Body Builder, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople and learn the skills required to build, assemble, fit, and maintain heavy vehicle bodies and equipment.

Your apprenticeship will provide hands-on experience in:

· Vehicle body construction and assembly

· Fabrication and fitting of truck-mounted equipment

· Use of hand tools and power tools

· Hydraulic systems and components

· Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

· Welding and metalworking techniques

· Workshop safety and quality procedures

About You

This role would suit someone who:

· Has a genuine interest in vehicles, trucks, machinery, and equipment

· Enjoys working with their hands

· Is mechanically minded

· Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic

· Is reliable, punctual, and willing to learn

· Works well as part of a team

· Holds a current driver's licence (preferred but not essential)
