Due to rapid growth, Midas Tyre & Auto Service Labrador (part of The Car Place Group) is looking for a Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our high-performing workshop immediately.

You’ll work alongside an experienced team, in a modern, well-equipped workshop servicing a wide range of vehicles — from everyday cars to European models.

🔧 ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on, full-time role covering:

• Logbook servicing & general repairs

• EFI diagnostics & fault finding

• New & used vehicle maintenance

• Tyres, wheels & alignments

• Working across all vehicle makes & models

✅ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Essential:

• Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic

• Current manual driver’s licence

• Full Australian working rights
  (Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents only)

• Own tools

• Strong diagnostic & scan tool experience

• Reliable, punctual & efficient work ethic

Highly Regarded (but not essential):

• Queensland Safety Inspection Licence

• Air-Conditioning Licence

• Wheel alignment experience

• Tyre fitting & repairs

• European vehicle experience

• Dual trade – Auto Electrician (Additional remuneration)
