TRS Resourcing is currently seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics / Plant Mechanics for multiple permanent opportunities across Melbourne, Victoria.
These positions offer the opportunity to work across a diverse fleet of earthmoving equipment, heavy vehicles, crushers, screens, fixed plant, and mobile machinery supporting quarrying, recycling, waste management, construction materials, and resource recovery operations throughout Victoria.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mobile and fixed plant equipment
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults across heavy machinery and industrial equipment
• Maintain crushers, screens, conveyors, earthmoving equipment, and transport assets
• Complete maintenance reports and service documentation accurately
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures
• Support operational reliability through proactive maintenance and fault reporting
• Participate in breakdown response and field service activities as required

Skills & Experience

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, Mobile Plant Mechanic, or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities
• Experience working on heavy mobile plant, quarry equipment, or industrial machinery
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
