We are a family business with over 30 years combined experience in structural steel rigging and crane hire. 

Working all throughout Melbourne with a constant change of scenery and tasks with an experienced and friendly crew. We are a looking for a reliable experienced addition to the team who is keen to work in a fast paced environment and who has an eye for detail.


Qualifications & Experience

  • White Card - construction induction

  • EWP License Over 11 Meters 

  • Basic Riggers 

  • Welding qualifications

  • Experience in 'site set out' is essential

  • Welding on site cleats for steel, marking rakers/chalk lines, column heights etc.

  • Must be able to read and correctly interpret drawings


Tasks & responsibilities

  • Working with a crew to install structural steel with a 30T Crane on mostly industrial sites

  • Installing from EWP's - purlins, bridging, rod bracing & fly braces

  • Reading of basic drawings and plans

  • Estimating the size and weight of objects to be moved and deciding on appropriate equipment to be used.

  • Attaching sling equipment to load to be lifted.

  • Following workplace Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) procedures.

  • Installing and operating cables, ropes, pulleys, and other lifting tackle.

  • Erecting structural steel on buildings under construction.

  • Must have own car, relevant tools, strong work ethic, happy to work in a team, and be reliable
