Apprentice Boilermaker 1st Year

Sprint Material Processing is a modern fabrication workshop specialising in precision laser cutting and metal fabrication. We operate advanced machinery and deliver high-quality work across a range of industries.

As a First Year Apprentice Boilermaker, you will be trained in all aspects of metal fabrication and workshop operations. Your duties will include:

• Fabrication and welding (MIG/TIG and general fabrication work)

• Cutting and preparing materials

• Learning to operate fibre laser cutting machines

• Assisting with press brake machine operation

• De-nesting laser cut parts

• Assisting with machine maintenance and upkeep

• Packing and dispatch of completed jobs

• General workshop housekeeping and organisation

• Following job instructions and learning to read technical drawings

This role offers a structured 4-year apprenticeship with ongoing training and development, providing the opportunity to build a long-term career in the trade.
