About the role

We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team at Australian Road Covers in Boronia, VIC. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to apply your welding expertise and contribute to the success of our growing company.

What you'll be doing

Perform a variety of welding tasks including MIG, stick welding to fabricate and repair steel components and products
Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and plans to execute welding projects accurately
Assist with the assembly and installation of our custom-made road covers and related infrastructure
Identify and troubleshoot any issues during the welding process, making necessary adjustments to ensure high-quality work
Maintain a safe and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols
Collaborate with the production team to meet project timelines and targets

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in the trades and services or manufacturing industry
Minimum 1-2 years of welding experience required
Strong proficiency in MIG, stick welding techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and plans
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
Any welding certification required
Australian citizenship required
