Our client is a well-established leading plastics engineering and fabrication specialist. Known for their high-quality workmanship and innovative solutions, they manufacture a diverse range of custom plastic products for commercial and industrial applications.

Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, we are seeking experienced Plastic Welder/Fabricators to join our busy, collaborative workshop team.
  • Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 7am - 3pm, Friday 7am - 1pm
  • Pay Rate: $56.90 Per Hour + Super + Required Overtime
  • Temp to Perm Opportunity
The Role
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding custom plastic products based on technical drawings and specifications.

Your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Extrusion welding, socket welding, and butt welding of various thermoplastic materials (polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, etc.).
  • Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings.
  • Cutting, shaping, and prepping materials using workshop machinery and hand tools.
  • Ensuring all finished products meet strict quality and structural standards.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Full Working Rights in Australia.
  • Suit Second Class Welder or Certificate 3 in Fabrication.
  • Flexibility to work on site or within the workshop.
  • Proven experience in plastic welding and fabrication (experience with industrial tanks, pipework, or custom linings is highly regarded).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings accurately.
  • Proficiency with plastic welding equipment (extrusion welders, hot air guns, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • A reliable, punctual work ethic with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Valid forklift licence is a plus, but not essential.
