Elite Attachments is an established engineering company based in Bayswater, specialising in the manufacture of hydraulic quick hitches supplied to the earthmoving, construction, mining, and agriculture industries.
Due to strong growth, we are seeking Expressions of Interest for a motivated Spray Painter to potentially join our workshop team.
This is a dedicated spray-painting role within a growing company, with plans to double production over the next 12 months, offering strong job security and the opportunity to grow alongside the business.
About the Role
This potential position focuses on spray painting prefabricated, semi-assembled hydraulic quick hitches in a well-equipped spray booth environment.
Your duties may include:
Pressure washing prefabricated and assembled hydraulic quick hitches
Minimal masking and surface preparation
Mixing and applying primer and high-quality polyurethane 2-pack paint systems
Correctly measuring and mixing paint ratios (base, activator, accelerator)
Operating within a spray booth fitted with an overhead rotating gantry line
Manoeuvring heavy quick hitches suspended on the gantry line (forklift supplied)
Managing workflow to meet production deadlines, including occasional last-minute priority jobs
Maintaining equipment including supplied gravity fed spray guns, masks, and orbital sanders
Working safely and efficiently within company processes
Overtime would be required when production demands increase; however, no weekend work is required.
About You
Experience in industrial or automotive spray painting
Confident mixing and applying 2-pack paint systems
Forklift licence (Preferred)
Physically fit and capable of handling heavy components (Forklifts supplied)
Understand synthetic lifting slings and their load ratings
Able to manage time effectively and prioritise urgent jobs when required
Easy-going, team-oriented attitude
Flexible within reason and willing to learn and adhere to company processes
Trade qualification not required — surface finish quality and results are what matter
