Are you hands-on, mechanically minded, and keen to build a real career in precision engineering? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Machinist to join our CNC team.
This is a genuine apprenticeship - you’ll earn your formal trade qualification while working alongside experienced machinists who love what they do and enjoy bringing the next generation through.
Operating and setting up modern CNC machinery under the guidance of our senior team
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and job specifications
Learning to produce precision-machined components to tight tolerances
Developing your skills across a range of cutting, turning, and milling operations
Keeping your workspace clean, safe, and organised
A genuine interest in machining, engineering, or manufacturing
Good attention to detail — precision matters in this role
A willingness to learn and take direction
Basic maths skills and a practical mindset
Current school leavers and career changers are both welcome to apply
Formal apprenticeship leading to a nationally recognised trade qualification
Modern CNC equipment - you’ll be learning on industry-leading machinery, not outdated gear
Supportive team culture - we’re a close-knit crew who genuinely want to see you succeed
Real career progression - many of our senior machinists started exactly where you’ll be starting
Competitive apprentice wages that increase as your skills grow
If you’re ready to get your hands dirty (and your skills sharp), we’d love to hear from you. Apply now with your resume and a brief cover letter telling us why you’re keen on a machining career.
Applications reviewed as received - don’t wait!
