About the role

Join the team at Brikkle, a leading provider of building maintenance and repair services. As an Experienced Trades professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless upkeep and restoration of commercial and residential properties across Perth. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this full-time position offers the opportunity to apply your extensive trade skills and expertise to a diverse range of maintenance and repair projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Carry out a wide variety of building maintenance and repair tasks, including carpentry, painting, landscaping and general handyman duties

2. Diagnose issues, identify suitable solutions, and complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard

3. Liaise with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates, and ensure their satisfaction with the completed work

4. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

5. Contribute to the ongoing development of Brikkle's maintenance processes and procedures

6. Mentor and support junior tradespeople as required

What we're looking for

1. Formal trade qualifications in carpentry, landscaping, or a related field

2. Minimum 5 years of experience working as a building maintenance and repairs professional

3. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the ability to identify and effectively address a wide range of maintenance issues

4. Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients

5. Commitment to working safely and a proactive approach to workplace health and safety

6. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work demands

7. A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation

8. Be locally based (Eastern Suburbs or Inner Sydney)
