We have an opportunity for a skilled and innovative Navvie to join our multi-skilled and proactive Cane Rail Maintenance Team. If you have a background in working on rail lines and general civil laboring, then your next Opportunity at ICSM may be what you are looking for.

A day in the life of a Ganger at ICSM involves:

• Participate in and complete daily maintenance tasks across the ICSM Cane Rail Network, as per the weekly maintenance plan during the crushing and maintenance seasons ensuring you work safely and efficiently with resources

• Attend to Call outs during the crushing season to de-railments and emergency rail maintenance needs across the Rail network

• Work within Navvie work crews to carry out maintenance seasons tasks along the cane rail corridor

• Assist in the railway sleeper workshop building railway sleeps for the upkeep of the can rail network

• Assist with the maintenance of cane bins within the cane trailers maintenance shed in the maintenance season

What you bring to ICSM:

• QLD Driver’s License (Manual will be looked at favorably)

• Cert II in rail infrastructure (will be looked at favorably)

• Reliable transport to attend work

• Basic & Intermediate Doggers license

• Basic & Intermediate Riggers license

• Front end loader RII’s and experience

• Telehandler experience highly regarded

• Working at heights certificate

• Experience with welding

• QLD Forklift license

• QLD Construction White Card

• Previous laboring experience, whether in civil projects, agriculture or mining environments is highly regarded

• Australian Working Rights
