We're hiring TWO Body Repair Apprentices at our Eagle Farm workshop:
1 x Body Repair Technician (Panel Beater): This apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and experience required to repair, replace and refit non-structural vehicle panels that have been damaged as a result of a collision. For those who seek further career advancement opportunities, there is an option to include structural repair qualifications and experience within their apprenticeship.
1 x Body Repair Spray Painter: This apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and experience to prepare, restore, and finish painted vehicle surfaces. These skills can then be applied to a range of jobs, from repairing damaged paintwork to simply adding some cosmetic enhancement.
As an Apprentice Body Repair Technician OR Spray Painter you will be part of a team that is delivering an impeccable service experience to Tesla Body Repair customers. This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll have an opportunity to learn from our team of experienced staff and work with vehicles that are revolutionising the automotive industry.
Throughout this 4-year apprenticeship you will go through an intensive EV and body repair training program designed to provide you with the skills and nationally recognised qualification necessary for a successful career with Tesla’s Body Shops.
The program includes a mix of practical training and assessment undertaken in our state-of-the-art Body Shops, and eLearning allowing you to complete theory elements of the program at your own pace. You will have access to videos, interactive simulations and theory assessments, which can be easily accessed at any time and from any device – mobile phone, tablet or PC.

Responsibilities:
Work as a team to deliver results and achieve daily goals
Complete Tesla Specific training
Develop knowledge of all Tesla products, Body Repair Systems, Process and Procedures
Ensure workshop is well maintained
Maintain records of time, expenses and materials
Perform basic body repair work under supervision
Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and Body Repair Centre
Requirements:
Educational experience: Year 12 completion
Ability to work full-time hours
Valid driver's license
Fluent English and valid working rights in Australia
Excellent Communication, Attention to Detail, Team Collabortation, and Time Management skills
Ability to learn on the job, adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and work efficiently to meet deadlines
Be self-motivated, proactive and take initiative to plan ahead and best support your team
Possess a combination of analytical thinking, hands-on problem solving, and customer-service mindset
Understand the basic need for safety in the workplace
Must be able to take constructive feedback in a positive manner.
Be medically fit to work in a Body Repair Centre
Must have a passion for our mission, our people, and our customers.
