We partner with some of Australia’s largest print and IT providers, specialising in the transport, installation, and maintenance of large and sensitive equipment across multiple sites. Our reputation is built on precision, reliability, and personalised service, and we’re growing.

The Role

As a KKTS Break Fix Technician, you will be responsible for the on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of multi-function devices, commercial displays, and a diverse range of contracted IT and digital hardware. This is a versatile, hands-on role suited for an adaptable problem solver who thrives on autonomy, cross-platform diagnostics, and delivering exceptional client support across varying technical service agreements.

Key responsibilities include:

·     Performing advanced diagnostics to isolate complex hardware, mechanical, and electrical faults across a wide range of client equipment.

·     Executing routine preventative maintenance and hardware repairs on photocopiers, multi-function printers (MFDs), and wide-format units.

·     Carrying out on-site hardware installations, network configurations, and diverse multi-vendor device deployments.

·     Responding to escalated technical service requests within defined client service level agreements (SLAs).

·     Handling network diagnostics, including resolving connectivity issues, managing scanning setup, and fault diagnosis.

·     Managing a spare parts inventory, accurately logging parts usage, and processing returns.

·     Recording comprehensive service activity via our ticketing system for full operational transparency.

·     Providing technical guidance and hardware training to client key operators and end-users during site visits.

Daily responsibilities and service delivery are governed by structured workflows and comprehensive operational manuals, ensuring technical consistency and quality.

About You

You are a methodical, detail-oriented technician who takes pride in resolving complex hardware faults and keeping client operations running smoothly. You have strong problem-solving instincts, solid communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality customer experiences.

You’ll bring:

·     Excellent communication skills and a professional, client-facing demeanour.

·     Relevant manufacturer or hardware certifications are highly regarded but not essential.

·     Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic aptitude.

·     Demonstrated experience with hardware diagnostics and component replacements.

·     Proven technical experience repairing and servicing commercial print hardware, displays, or diverse IT hardware infrastructure.

·     A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Blue Card, or willingness to obtain one.

·     A current Queensland Restricted Electrical Work Licence (REL), equivalent Electrical Worker Licence, or willingness to obtain one.

·     A valid Australian driver’s licence and a clean driving record.

Why Join KKTS?

·     Be part of a growing national brand with a reputation for operational and technical excellence.

·     Access to ongoing manufacturer training and technical development opportunities.

·     Work in a supportive team environment with clear operational processes and modern service tools.

·     Enjoy competitive remuneration, a company vehicle/allowance, and stable hours.

·     Make a real impact in a role that blends technical expertise, field logistics, and client care.
