Full-time | Company vehicle, fuel card and phone | Overtime potential | Occasional away work
Are you a hands-on site leader who takes pride in doing the job properly, leading a small team and leaving every site better than you found it?
Tank Vision is looking for a motivated Service Team Leader to join our growing service division. This is a practical, site-based role suited to someone with experience in plumbing-related work, fire systems, pumps, tanks, construction, maintenance or similar trade-based environments.
This is not strictly a plumber role. We are looking for someone with strong site experience, a good mechanical mindset, the ability to lead others, and the willingness to learn the specialist world of commercial and industrial water storage tanks.
Tank Vision is a leading Sydney-based commercial and industrial water storage tank manufacturer and service provider. For over 12 years, we have delivered water storage solutions across the commercial, healthcare, retail, industrial, transport and data sectors throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
We have built a strong reputation through quality workmanship, reliable project delivery and long-term relationships with repeat clients. As our service division continues to grow, we are looking for the right person to help lead works on site and support the next stage of growth.
As the Service Team Leader, you will report to the Works Manager and be responsible for coordinating and carrying out tank service works on site. You will lead by example, manage offsiders, communicate professionally with clients and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Tank servicing works may include:
• Tank cleaning and inspections
• ROV (remote operated vehicle) inspections
• Minor tank repairs and retrofit works
• Tank fit-outs and upgrade works
• General service and maintenance works
• Supporting new tank builds where required
This role includes regular local site work, ongoing potential for overtime and occasional away work depending on project requirements.
In this role, you will:
• Coordinate and complete site service works.
• Lead and manage offsiders or small site teams.
• Ensure all works are completed safely, correctly and to a high standard.
• Complete service reports, safety reports and site documentation.
• Maintain tools, equipment and vehicle readiness.
• Arrive on site prepared and on time for inductions and start times.
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional work area.
• Build strong working relationships with clients.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, practical and confident working on site.
You may have experience in:
• Plumbing-related work
• Fire systems
• Pumps and pipework
• Water storage tanks
• Construction or maintenance
• Industrial or commercial site works
• Mechanical or trade-based service work
You do not need to be a plumber or tradesperson, but you should have a strong understanding of site work, tools, safety, client interaction and practical problem-solving.
The ideal applicant will have:
• Strong hands-on site experience
• Good communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A professional attitude when dealing with clients and site contacts
• Pride in quality workmanship
• Willingness to learn Tank Vision's systems, products and processes
• Ability to work away from home from time to time
The successful applicant will need:
• Construction Industry White Card
• Confined Space ticket
• Current driver licence
• Working at Heights ticket preferred
• Company vehicle
• Fuel card
• Mobile phone
• Ongoing potential for overtime
• Occasional away work
• On-the-job training
• Opportunity to learn a specialist area
• Supportive and friendly team environment
• Stable full-time role with a growing company
• Workplace where good work is recognised and appreciated
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than just another site job.
You will be joining a practical, supportive team where you can build specialist knowledge, take ownership of service works and grow with a company that values reliability, workmanship and initiative.
If you are hands-on, organised, mechanically minded and ready to step into a team leader role, we would like to hear from you.
