About the role

CIVFORCE Traffic Management is seeking experienced TMI, TMA, POD Truck Drivers to join our dynamic team. Based in Loganholme, QLD 4129, this role is essential to our operations in traffic management and road safety services. As a traffic control experienced professional in this position, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining specialised traffic management vehicles, including UTES, TMA (Truck Mounted Attenuators), and POD trucks. Your work will directly contribute to keeping Queensland roads safe and traffic flowing smoothly during roadworks, events, and emergency situations.

Key responsibilities

Operate TMI, TMA, and POD trucks safely and professionally in accordance with all traffic laws and company procedures

  1. Conduct pre-operation and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure trucks are in optimal working condition

  2. Set up, monitor, and dismantle traffic management equipment and signage as directed

  3. Communicate effectively with traffic management teams and site supervisors to coordinate safe traffic flow

  4. Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or damage

  5. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies on job sites

  6. Respond promptly to changes in traffic conditions and adjust operations accordingly

  7. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour when representing CIVFORCE Traffic Management


What we're looking for

  1. Current, valid Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence

  2. Current Traffic Management Implementation Ticket or TMA Certification or wiilling to obtain.

  3. Proven experience operating specialised traffic management vehicles (TMI, TMA, or POD trucks preferred)

  4. Strong knowledge of traffic management principles and road safety procedures.

  5. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and professionalism

  6. Ability to work flexibly, including early starts, evenings, and weekends as required

  7. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams

  8. Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks associated with traffic management

  9. Reliability and punctuality in attending scheduled shifts

  10. Current First Aid certification is advantageous

  11. White Card (Construction Safety Induction Card) mandatory
