Nordex Doors & Panels has been around for over 30 years and is an Australian manufacturer of high-quality timber doors and panels. We are looking for an experienced Joiner / Wood Machinist to join our workshop team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in precision craftsmanship and enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the manufacture and assembly of timber doors and joinery products, including:
Operating and setting up woodworking machinery (panel saw, spindle moulder, thicknesser, planer, cnc, press, etc.)
Cutting, shaping and assembling timber components
Reading and interpreting job sheets and drawings
Producing high-quality work to tight tolerances
Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient workspace
Working collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience as a Joiner, Cabinet Maker or Wood Machinist
Is confident using a range of woodworking machinery
Has strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Can work independently and as part of a team
Has a forklift licence
Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Understands and follows workplace health & safety procedures
Trade qualifications are preferred but not essential for the right candidate with proven experience.
