Role details:
We’re seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join our Truganina Board Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a afternoon shift 2pm – 10pm with overtime available. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

What you’ll do:

Working alongside the maintenance and production team to complete routine and planned maintenance tasks.
Troubleshooting and resolving breakdowns on production machinery.
Working autonomously as you will be the only fitter on shift.
Strong safety mindset and adherence to policies and procedures.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
Guidance and mentoring apprentices in their development.

What you’ll bring:

Qualification as a Mechanical Fitter.
Experience in a manufacturing environment and working alongside production.
Troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance skills and knowledge.
Passion for your trade and able to work autonomously with limited supervision.
A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.
