Heavy Equipment Fitter

SNH Equipment is looking to expand to help fulfil the growing work load. This company runs on great work ethic and the attitude to get the job done. We are looking for the right candidate with the ability to fulfill a workshop position, with the view for potential field service opportunities. SNH Equipment also have a fleet of our own equipment that will require ongoing maintenance and repairs. Opportunities may include offering you a service truck to setup you're tooling. Choosing the right employee will be a major asset to the company which in return the employee will receive a generous rate, potentially a service vehicle to commute to and from home, direct engagement with the owner so you're not a just a number, experience in various applications. Your place of work will generally be based at a long-term clients workshop at Rocklea. Field service opportunities will be closer to Ipswich but on the occasion, jobs can be an hour outside the radius of Ipswich. Qualifications & experience

• Must be trade qualified

• Mobile Plant Mechanic qualification is required

• MR License required

• Applicants with CAT and ET diagnostics experience will be highly considered

• Applicants must be universal to work on various makes and models of earthmoving machinery eg. dozers, compactors, excavators, loaders, moxys, dump trucks

• Minimum 1-2 years of earthmoving machinery experience is required

• General welding skills

• Basic stick welding skills are required

• Applicant must be able to work independently in all elements wether it's onsite or at a workshop, conditions can be extreme at times and care needs to be taken when working alone

• Earthmoving repairs, servicing and diagnostics across a broad range of machinery

• Workshop Based

• Welding work/repairs

• Hydraulic work/repairs

• Electrical work/repairs

• Machinery Fit Outs/Assembly

• Componentry Repairs

• Fault Finding/Diagnostics
