About the role

Join a major water treatment project in Rockhampton supporting the commissioning and completion of critical infrastructure. Working alongside Mechanical Fitters and commissioning teams, you will assist with installation checks, testing, defect rectification, and general project support activities.

Key Responsibilities

Assist Mechanical Fitters with commissioning activities
Support pressure testing and system start-up works
Assist with pumps, valves, piping and mechanical equipment
Complete punch list and defect rectification tasks
General site duties, material handling and housekeeping

Qualifications/Experience Required

Previous experience as a Trades Assistant on mechanical projects
Construction White Card
Current Working at Heights Ticket
Current EWP Ticket
Experience using hand and power tools safely
