 About the Role

As a Yard Operator you will ensure our rental equipment is properly maintained, organised and ready for customer use. You will work primarily in our branch yard and workshop facilities, playing a key part in keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and prepare rental equipment for customer pickup and return

• Clean and stage equipment to maintain professional presentation standards

• Safely load and unload equipment using proper handling procedures

• Organise yard areas to optimise workflow and equipment accessibility

• Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure equipment readiness

• Support branch operations through efficient equipment management

·       Maintain a clean, organised and safe yard environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in equipment rental, construction, transport, warehousing, or related industries preferred

• Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment (license preferred/required)

• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices

• Capability to stand and move around the yard for extended periods

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

• Strong communication and organisational skills
