We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to support safe, reliable and efficient production. Whether you’re looking for a lifestyle shift, career development, or long-term job security, this is a great opportunity to step into a supportive, hands-on industrial environment.

You’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running – responding to breakdowns, supporting shift start-ups and changeovers, and completing planned and project maintenance.

No two days are the same, and you’ll be part of a close-knit team that values safety, collaboration and continuous improvement, with just the right amount of autonomy to manage completion of work orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations

  • Inspect operating machinery and equipment for compliance with standards and recommend improvements

  • Provide regular updates to the Maintenance Manager and team on maintenance requests and priorities

  • Carry out hands-on electrical and controls work

  • Ensure electrical safety of all plant and equipment

  • Complete electrical testing and tagging as required

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Electrical trade qualification

  • Experience in an industrial / manufacturing environment, timber mill experience an advantage.

  • Demonstrated experience with CMMS (preferably MEX)

  • Strong fault finding and fast response to breakdowns

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Excellent problem solving, prioritisation and time management

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment

  • Knowledge of PLC and control circuits is highly regarded

  • Must hold a current Driver's Licence

  • Unrestricted working rights required for this position
