The Role
At Airmaster, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch solutions for our clients. Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and driven Sprinkler Fitter to join our Adelaide Fire team, based out of Regency Park.
The incumbent will be tasked with effectively delivering sprinkler work requirements including inspection, testing and maintenance, repair, ad-hoc and project works across Adelaide. You will play an integral part in delivering relevant technical, supervisory, operational and customer support, and will have scope to build and develop the Wet Fire department with exciting opportunities and clear pathways for career growth and progression.
Key Competencies
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Strong knowledge of inspecting & servicing Sprinkler Systems, along with an understanding of AS 1851 and AS 2118
Ability to provide estimates for smaller installs / shop fit-outs
Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
Ability to delegate work according to skill-sets of others
A willingness to learn basic aspects of AS 1851, with expectation to provide clients with real-time resolutions when required
Reliable, self-motivated and well presented
Excellent attention to detail & workmanship
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to interact professionally with Airmaster team members, clients and suppliers
Strong commitment to safe work practices (essential)
Current valid driver’s licence (essential)
