Mechanic- Fleet and Plant

We are seeking an individual who shares our vision of operational excellence and can ensure we continue to provide our customers with reliable and quality service. With a growing fleet of specialised industrial vacuum plant and associated equipment, we are currently seeking an experienced Fleet and Plant Mechanic to join our Operational team. This is a full-time opportunity with the key areas being;

About the role

·        Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on trucks, mobile plant equipment, light vehicles and other equipment as required.

·        Perform routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.

·        Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, NDD and hydraulic systems.

·        Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess and repair equipment efficiently.

·        Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.

·        Assist with stock management and consumable control.

·        Promoting a safety-first culture ensuring commitment to safety, company policies and compliance with industry standards.

About You

·        Heavy Diesel Mechanic trade qualification

·        Demonstrated 1+ years’ experience as a Qualified diesel mechanic

·        Proven experience in the maintenance of plant and equipment, experience with Vacuum, Drain Cleaning, HP water and CCTV pipe inspection plant will be looked upon favourably.

·        Valid HR license required.

·        Ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team.

·        Strong OH&S understanding
