Boilermaker

LJ's Engineering and Steel Fabrication, Gracemere, are seeking a trade qualified boilermaker. We are looking for applicants who have a great attitude towards work and who are hardworking, reliable and punctual.

Qualifications & experience -

• Must be a trade-qualified and experienced boilermaker (Certificate III or Certificate IV in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent)

• Minimum 3-5 years of boilermaker experience preferred, however we are open to discussing candidates with varying levels of experience.

• Field work and mine site experience highly regarded

• Have experience in light to heavy fabrication and repairs/rebuilds

• Experience with aluminium, stainless steel, MIG and TIG welding

• Current Working at Heights and EWP certificates highly advantageous

• Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality workmanship

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Able to take instructions and work independently and unsupervised

• Current QLD Manual Driver's License

• Australian work rights required for this position

About the Role -

• Work at our workshop or on job site (locally) as required

• May include some after hours/week-end shifts as required

• After hours and weekend work will be required rarely as operational needs arise

• Casual to start but it can become a full time permanent position for the right person

• $50 per hour plus penalties
