Lead a High-Performing Finishing Team

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader – Paint & Powder Coating to oversee our finishing department and help drive quality, safety, and productivity across our operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with experience in industrial painting, powder coating, or manufacturing environments who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and delivering high-quality outcomes.

About the Role

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Paint and Powder Coating section, including:

Leading and supervising a team of painters and powder coaters
Planning and coordinating daily workflow to meet production schedules
Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship
Ensuring safe work practices and compliance with company procedures
Monitoring productivity and identifying opportunities for improvement
Assisting with training, mentoring, and development of team members
Coordinating with production and dispatch teams to ensure customer requirements are met
Maintaining equipment and ensuring the department operates efficiently

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

Previous experience leading teams in a paint, powder coating, or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of surface preparation, coating systems, and finishing processes
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A proactive and solutions-focused approach
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Ability to motivate and develop team members
Trade qualifications in Spray Painting or a related discipline are highly regarded
