About the opportunity:
Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Heavy Road Vehicle Mechanic to join a well-established mining services operation supporting mobile plant and heavy vehicle fleets across Western Australia.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Fault finding, maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of heavy vehicles and mobile plant equipment.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and low-voltage electrical faults.
Completing preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs to minimise downtime.
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and ensuring inventory is kept up to date.
Supporting operational teams and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives.
Working closely with supervisors and maintenance personnel to ensure fleet reliability and safety.

What We’re Looking For:

Trade qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanics (Cert III or equivalent).
Strong experience maintaining heavy vehicles and mobile plant equipment.
Proven fault-finding ability across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Experience working with low-voltage electrical systems and automated controls.
Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
Current HR Driver's Licence and Forklift Licence.
Ability to obtain relevant security clearances if required.
Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and within a team environment.
