About the role

RL Tile & Stone is seeking a full-time Tiler to join our team in Bunbury, Western Australia. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the professional installation of tiles in residential and commercial properties, contributing to the high-quality finish that our customers have come to expect.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare surfaces for tiling by measuring, marking and cutting tiles as required

• Lay tiles according to plans and specifications, ensuring proper alignment, spacing and leveling

• Mix and apply adhesives and grout to secure tiles in place

• Trim and cut tiles as needed to fit around fixtures and edges

• Clean and polish completed tiling work to a high standard

• Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and provide updates on project progress

• Maintain a safe and organised work environment

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a tiler, with a minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in residential and/or commercial tiling

• Strong skills in measuring, cutting, laying and grouting tiles to a high standard

• Ability to read and interpret floor plans, technical drawings and job specifications

• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills to overcome challenges on site

• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship

• Excellent time management and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines

• A current driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
