Wiring Harnesses Australia is an Australian owned and operated custom manufacturer of automotive wiring harnesses and electrical systems. We have a dedicated team that prides themselves on producing a high-quality product and working in partnership with our clients by being flexible and responsive to their individual needs.
We are seeking an organised and reliable Workshop Supervisor to join the team in our Banyo workshop. This role is focused on leading the day-to-day operation of our manufacturing workshop, with responsibility for leading our production and assembly team, managing jobs and maintaining quality standards, ensuring that our jobs run on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage job planning and allocations to keep work flowing efficiently through our workshop and achieve a high-quality finished product
Lead and supervise the production and assembly team to ensure that technical standards and customer expectations are met
Work closely with sales and procurement staff to monitor job readiness, delivery timeframes and customer expectations
Oversee quality standards and coordinate rework across the production and assembly team, champion continuous improvement activities to improve internal service delivery
Ensure safety standards are followed within the workshop and safe work practices are adhered to
Skills & Experience:
Leadership experience in a job-based manufacturing, fabrication or workshop environment
Trade qualification in an automotive, mechanical or industrial field (desirable)
Strong leadership and communication skills, with demonstrated experience leading a technical- or trade- based team
Strategic thinking and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
