About the role

We are Vanti Built a Residential luxury home builder and developer. We are a growing team looking for motivated and driven individuals to thrive with our team! We are seeking an experienced Carpenter & Handyman to join our team primarily in Brisbane with some skirting works around Redlands, Logan and Northern Gold Coast. This full-time role is pivotal in supporting our team with a wide range of carpentry and general construction tasks. As a Carpenter & Handyman, you will play a crucial part in the successful delivery of our projects, contributing to the growth and reputation of our company.

What you'll be doing

1. Performing high-quality carpentry work, including framing, finishing, cladding, and cabinetry construction

2. Undertaking general handyman duties such as minor repairs, installations, and maintenance

3. Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and instructions to plan and execute tasks

4. Collaborating with site manager and project manager, and other tradespeople to ensure timely and efficient project completion

5. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, following all health and safety protocols

6. Providing excellent quality and unique builds

What we're looking for

1. Demonstrated experience as a Carpenter with custom home experience

2. Strong carpentry skills, including experience in framing, finishing, cladding, and cabinetry

3. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as reading and interpreting technical drawings

4. Attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

5. Excellent problem-solving and time management skills, able to work alone if required or with a team

6. Good communication and customer service skills

7. A valid driver's licence and great work ethic
